The aim of the master's thesis is to do an assessment of the elasticity of electricity demand in households. A study of short-term elasticity of electricity demand and prices was evaluated through regression and correlation analyses. The thesis evaluates the impact of electricity prices, GDP per capita growth, and temperature changes on electricity demand. The assessment was completed on 300 households, dividing into groups on electricity consumption levels and household location. Methods for reducing electricity price elasticity and promoting more efficient electricity use are reviewed. |
