Abstract [eng] |
Mathematical methods are mostly used in creating new musical compositions, but it could also be used when identifying composition's style, solving plagiarism issue and restoring missing parts of composition. Methods compatible for analysis of musical compositions are investigated. Statistical methods with graphical visualizations in comparative analysis of musical rhythms data are examined. Results of correspondence analysis, clastering and similarity measures show that these methods could be used as comparative tool for musical rhythms of groups of compositions. Methods were implemented in SAS as program with user interface. |
