Abstract [eng] The business model reveals the company's business processes, the value it creates for customers, the resources it uses, the partners it engages and other relevant aspects. The business model may be subject to changes in response to changes in the market, customers, or the environment. Implementing changes to business models is often a complex and intricate process, requiring a wide range of corporate resources. Sustainability in business is becoming an increasingly important aspect for end customers, the European Union or other companies. Changes in business models through the integration of sustainability initiatives into the business model can help to gain competitive advantage and ensure the long-term success of the company. The level of sustainability maturity in a company defines the company's approach to sustainability, the application of sustainability initiatives in day-to-day operations or the incorporation of sustainability initiatives into the company's strategy and culture.
