Abstract [eng] |
The information technology sector, which faces constantly changing market conditions and increasing competition, has an increasing share in the global economy. Companies are forced to continually look for ways to improve efficiency and enhance the quality of services and products to maintain their market position. Information technology projects has become critically important for business and technology development, making management of these projects one of the most crucial factors. It is noted that information technology projects often encounter budget overruns or exceed allocated timelines. Although various popular methodologies are used in the information technology sector to address these issues, there is still a lack of empirical knowledge on the possibilities of applying the Lean concept in the information technology project management. Therefore, the aim of this work is to reveal the possibilities of applying the Lean concept in the information technology project management based on scientific literature and empirical research results. |
