Abstract [eng] |
Choosing a pension provision is becoming increasingly relevant today. A working young person must think on what sort of life might await him or her in 30–40 years, and what decisions should be made right now, in order to ensure a dignified life in the future. For more than a decade, a private pension fund system has been operating in Lithuania, providing future pensioners with a certain freedom of choice in deciding their future. Predictions of pension funds are rather optimistic. Various calculations and index evaluations are provided, the results of which are seemingly on a constant rise. How is a future pensioner supposed to not lose himself or herself among the multitude of available pension funds? Which criteria of assessment should attention be paid to, when attempting to make the correct and efficient pensionary solution? |
