Abstract [eng] Research problem. What are the career interests of the elder employees? Research object. The career interests of the elder employees. Goal of the research. Investigate the career interests of the elder employees and the methods so satisfy them. Tasks of the research: 1.To analyse elder employees' situation in the employment market. 2.To analyse theoretical career management aspects and possibility of interests' coordination. 3.To prepare theoretical model of late career backed-up by the coordination of interests. 4.To prepare the methodology of researching the elder employees' career interests and their coordination. Theoretical and empiric methods: the analysis and descriptive quantitative research into scientific literature, textbooks, scientific articles, documents and law acts. Research results. After performing the analysis of scientific literature was established that gradually increasing number of elder employees of the age 55 and more suggests, that these employees remain the huge part of the employment market. The diminishing of the physical and mental capabilities is compensated with such typical features to elder employees as experience, capability of partnership, reliability, stability and loyalty in the career managing process. Organizations should develop flexible forms of employment, ensure social end employee rights', also should maintain regulation of workplace quality, safety and health requirements, which is particularly relevant in the elder age. After performing the empiric research data analysis it is clear that elder employees are sedentary, stabile and attached to the organisation they work in. Furthermore, the attitude that elder employees are not susceptible to learning, raising the level of their qualification, making career plans or expectations of raise in position was confirmed. Experience is considered to be the key factor in the career making, on the other hand, the new difficult technologies are considered to be the biggest obstacle. The career is identified as material interest, while the salary is identified as main priority, of which the half of respondents feel not satisfied with. Elder people seek the evaluation and appreciation, good working conditions, safety at work, as well as individually estimated workload and pace.
