Abstract [eng] With the development of rapidly evolving information systems the virtual learning is evolving too. Virtual learning is becoming more popular so it is very important to have reliable tools to ensure the quality of the virtual learning process. The role of the teacher in virtual learning is very important. Teacher in the course has to ensure high-quality course materials preparation and it`s submission, ensure a proper grade system and provide an objective assessment of students. Interface software agents can be introduced in virtual learning environments because they can facilitate the teaching process by performing some teachers’ tasks. It means that they can work as teachers’ assistant. Interface software agents in virtual learning environments are a relatively new occurrence. Moodle learning management system in which there are created virtual learning environments has quite a lot of different plugins but in this environment interfaces software agents are not used to facilitate the work of teacher. This master thesis studies interface software agents in virtual learning. Also it is the project of interface software agents system which is designed to install on Moodle learning management system. The interface software agent system was realized to check whether the agents are able to carry out such teachers’ works as: • monitoring activity of students during the entire course, • send warning messages for students with relevant information about the newly announced, upcoming and overdue course events, • answering students’ questions.
