Abstract [eng] Information technologies are more and more used in education of children with hearing impairment. There are many educational computer programs that are designed for the primary school pupils: starting from elementary programs to encyclopedias, virtual laboratories. Many of the programs that are being used in Lithuanian schools are not adapted for the children with hearing impairment and can’t be directly used in their education. Because of the absence of special computer programs designed for the Lithuanian language training in the group of pupils with hearing impairment for the meantime teachers in this process use various computer programs, educational computer games designed for the hearing children, usually English versions. The analysis of scientific literature, educational aids, and the data received from the questionnaires filled by teachers in this study confirmed the existence of the situation described above. As a result we tried to design the educational computer aid that could make the teaching of Lithuanian language more effective while working with hearing impaired pupils of preliminary form.
