VIPS system continuously collects user data. The database records storing which records users watched, the time record was watched and etc. By using these stored data, course creators can evaluate the benefits and popularity of the course. Database records are capable to select when the record was stopped to watch (5 sec accuracy). The course creators with knowledge of these data can supplement / correct necessary record part. As the number of VIPS records is growing, it is necessary to have opportunity to sort the records based on statistical data (eg. based on partial reviews count or the full number of reviews). After sorting course creators can analyze which courses are the most interesting for learners. This way distance learning (and formal education studies) can better adapt to learners needs and constantly changing market conditions. Convenient VIPS database statistics visualization could significantly increase the quality of the courses. |
