Abstract [eng] |
One of the personnel management functions of Šiauliai region state tax inspection which had not been computerized properly, was vacation management. Vacation planning was inefficient, since it consisted of text files exchange between the departments. According to functional requirements for the information system, analogues existing in Lithuania’s market have been analysed. Since there was no information system which would meet all functional requirements, a decision to develop a new one has been made. After the definition of activity composition and characterizing cases of use, it was determined what exactly the system should perform. Static representation of a system had been developed, dividing objects, features, methods and links. Dynamic design of the system had also been completed, which set object modes and defined action sequences in activity charts. Object links were defined in teamwork diagrams. Developed system on a client-server basis enables more efficient vacation planning and generates vacation requests of the organization staff. For the staff of personnel department, the system helps to manage vacation record and generates vacation and cancellation orders. |
