The Master's thesis project analyses the literature related to methods for predicting heating energy costs. Physics based prediction, machine algorithm data-based energy cost prediction and hybrid machine algorithm and physics-based energy cost prediction are developed and described. An anonymous survey was also conducted to determine respondents' expectations of the accuracy of the energy cost prediction and, if met, to provide an additional incentive to renovate the building. |
