Abstract [eng] |
In a rapidly changing environment, education is confronted with an ever-increasing wealth of knowledge and information, which encourages educational institutions to adapt in order to meet the latest educational standards and societal expectations. These changes are making traditional models of educational organisations and teaching and learning methods ineffective. In the context of the 21st century, the reconceptualisation of educational organisations as learning organisations is becoming more and more relevant, which involves not only the necessary changes in the organisation's structure, but also a transformation of culture. The features and characteristics of learning organisations presented in the work of researchers show that continuous learning and the ability to change to take advantage of new opportunities are crucial in learning organisations. In this context, it is recognised that leadership is the basis, the condition for development and the critical factor for the transformation of educational institutions into learning organisations. This paper poses a research problem that can be identified by the following questions: what are the essential leadership characteristics of a pre-school as a learning organisation? What are the characteristics that identify a pre-school as a learning organisation? |
