This final project explores the manifestation of toxic leadership in organizations within the energy sector. A scientific literature review revealed both positive and negative aspects of toxic leadership, depending on the perspectives of group members and the organization. The positive attributes of toxic leadership present a vision of prosperity, strategize and invigorate that vision, and identify, develop, and motivate a team that fosters success and efficiency for the organization. Negative traits of toxic leadership create a detrimental impact on the organizational climate, induce unnecessary organizational stress, emphasize adverse values, and reduce productivity. The object of the study is the manifestation of toxic leadership in organizations within the energy sector. The goal is to analyze this phenomenon. The objectives set to achieve this goal are: 1. to reveal the concept of toxic leadership, its main dimensions, and characteristics; 2. to investigate the manifestation of toxic leadership in the energy sector from the employees' perspective; 3. to uncover the experiences of leaders working in the energy sector regarding toxic leadership. |
