In Research of environmental orientation robotic technologies work are talking about GPS coordinates error causes, already existing GPS error mitigation techniques and newly proposed. While developing robot orientation in an environment software has been observed, that GPS receiver gets coordinates with big GPS coordinate errors. The accuracy of GPS receiver did not meet the requirements, so it was looking for methods to reduce GPS coordinates errors. Using developed software were executed GPS coordinates improvement research. Using route disaggregation to steps method is possible to eliminate errors and incorrect directional guidance. Proposed GPS coordinates correction method research shows, that using this method, GPS errors can be reduced to 2.5 meters. Proposed automatic GPS coordinates correction while moving in the route method’s research shows that method can improve the movement of the route GPS coordinates accuracy. Proposed methods can be used to solve automated autonomous devices orientation in an environment tasks and in other areas. |
