Since computers began to store information, the need to make smaller capacity of stored data appears. Raw data occupies quite a lot of space in computer memory, and of course the transmissions of such data are longer. These facts are incompatible with the current technology, which is currently used in all areas of one or another type of data compression. There are two main types of compression -with information loss or without it. In this paper, the algorithm used to compress images with data loss - JPEG. This standard in the context of analyzing the data sequences coding for the entropic algorithms without loss of information. The main purpose in this paper is to develop and describe the sequence data compression algorithm, compare it with the character sequence length RLE encoding algorithms, and to find put the advantages and disadvantages of this type compression. And to write recommendations to use it. The survey is conducted using the JPEG standard, the analysis of images or portions of the database. The analysis of all the results obtained by the finding that the created algorithm is on average 16.56% more effective than the both versions of RLE algorithm. A & A data compression algorithm, on average, 14.58% occupied uncompressed data volume. The following advantages of A & A algorithm to recommend the use of both on-site use JPEG RLE modification, and in other areas of recurring characters in length coding sequences. |
