With the increasing number of social networks, there is a noticeable usage of the personal learning environment and of the social networking means. Social networking means are blogs wiki websites, multimedia sharing means – all these tools let to form up social networks. In this work, there is described virtual learning environment conception and the point of personal learning environment. Having discussed about this, virtual learning environment is compared with personal one, in the consideration of both student, and teacher. The purpose of this work is to examine the means of the social networking and to analyze how they can applied in the e-learning; also to suggest the alternatives how social networking tools can be installed. Having discussed about institutional virtual and personal learning environments, there is a suggestion about technical realization how they can be applied in e-learning by integrating them in the virtual learning environment. According to social networking tools installment alternatives, it was decided that it would be the best, if student, by logging in to his/her learning environment would also log in to institutional environment. |
