Number of users of internet grew hundreds times during last decade. Naturally that motivated universal improvement of internet technologies. As a result of this improvement was stimulus for many companies, agencies and societies to move a lot of their services to the internet space. If information and data in internet pages are volatile and should be replaced quite frequently, the best choice for solution of this problem is dynamic content website. But there is another side: the more functionality is heap up in same place the quality of its falls down. So nowadays problem is how to develop usable website, what’s mean finding happy medium between functionality and usability. Department of Information systems of Informatics faculty of Kaunas University of Technology wants to improve their experience and efficiency during search of information for preparation of scientific publications, creation of study programs, writing of study books etc. So staff of Department of Information systems wants to have internal storage of selected and classified nonfiction. Staff could use this storage to store own publications as well as publications of another authors and share with each other. Also internal knowledge sharing website should enable to annotate stored publications and improve efficiency of analysis of read publications and their annotations. |
