Abstract [eng] In the situation of increasing number of wind power plants, changeable and only partially predicted capacity of them and generation of electricity, electrical power systems experience some problems encumbering the assurance of a permanent balance between the energy generation and consumption in the system. Therefore it is necessary to have available operative power reserves in the electrical power system to ensure the reliable operation of the system. Techniques of power change parameter study and prediction in wind power plants are composed in this research work to solve the related problems. These techniques enable to determine and predict more precisely the power of wind farms. Models of small electrical power systems are created to study of wind power plant gross output and energy balancing possibilities in accordance with the demand of heat and electricity consumers. By use the models presented wind farm integrated powers of the small electrical power systems and necessary for balancing powers of combined heat and power plants, boiler houses and heat pumps, as well as capacities of heat energy accumulators and solar farms balanced powers are determined. The proposed model of wind power plant power balancing is used to study the possibilities to control the short time power deviations and variations of frequency in the small electrical power system. Scientific research of the author proves the possibility of integration the wind power plant capacities into electrical power system and possibility to increase the energy security of the system without reducing the transfer capability of the electrical transmission network.
