Abstract [eng] Lithuania's expanding renewable energy sector offers opportunities to recycle agricultural bio-waste and convert it into biogas, reducing dependence on natural gas. This project describes the research carried out on biogas codigestion in the little reviewed and studied option of co-digestion of carbohydrates, diesel, lubricants and oil. The final project of master‘s study consists of a literature review, methodological and materials, results and discussion of the research, recommendations and occupational health and safety sections. The literature review part provides an overview of biogas composition, raw materials, formation processes, codigestion, biogas plants and biogas upgrading technologies. The research part consists of a methodological and material part and a results part. The methodological and material part covers the materials used in the studies, their preparation, the conduct of the studies and the equipment used in the studies. The Results and discussion section presents the data collected during the studies, the parameters calculated from them and the results discussed. The recommendations section presents one possible biogas plant scheme that could be used to carry out the process investigated in these studies. The occupational health and safety section discusses the factors arising during the biogas production process that may affect the safety and health of workers and how to protect against them.
