The final Master‘s thesis analysis the problems of education of children having developmental disabilities. The need of children having developmental disabilities and their parents has been analysed. The topic is very relevant as the number of children having special educational needs in Lithuania is growing, and educators and parents encounter various difficulties educating these children. In order to find out, what the challenges are faced by parents raising children with developmental disabilities the research was conducted. After the research, it became clear, that parents cannot find proper information, methodology and recommendations on how to educate children having special educational needs on their own. |
