Abstract [eng] |
Hybrid working parents constantly face the challenge of maintaining work-life balance. Work-life balance shows whether working parents are able to plan and allocate their time, and at the same time reveals their ability to realize themselves in the areas of work and personal life. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of work-life balance has especially increased, as new forms of work organization have emerged – remote and hybrid work. All this encouraged company managers to re-choose work organization methods and adapt to the new needs of employees, ensuring the reconciliation of work and family obligations. In order to ensure the work-life balance of parents working in a hybrid way, it is important to determine which organizational factors help to maintain the balance. The object of this project is: organizational factors ensuring the work-life balance of parents working in a hybrid way. During the research, it was discovered that such organizational factors as social support and work environment help to ensure the work-life balance of parents working in a hybrid way. These factors were not investigated in this study. The main advantages of hybrid work are the ability to maneuver between family and work obligations, time saved for "workhome, home-work" trips, no extraneous noise and greater concentration. The main disadvantages of hybrid work are extended working hours, lack of socialization, extraneous noise created by the family and distractions between work and household chores. The main challenge for hybrid working parents is time management. |
