An initial public offering (IPO) is the process by which a company issues shares on the stock exchange for the first time. During the analysis of the problem, it was found that there is a tendency of underpricing on the first day after the IPO, and IPO underperformance in the long term. Although investors earn returns on the first day, losses are incurred in the long run. Therefore, there is a need to study the factors that influence these phenomena. |
