Growing competition and increasing production costs are the reasons to improve farming methods and update the working tools.Tractor is one of the main agricultural machinery tools, so most of them are operated with pneumatic tires, since a lot of attention is paid to the wheel and soil interaction. Tractor work with enabled front axle (4x4), and under different air pressures in the tires, leads to kinematic mismatch between the front and rear wheels. This mismatch increases engine load and fuel consumption. This work evaluates kinematic mismatch effect on engine load and fuel consumption. |
