Abstract [eng] |
Electrical and electronics industry is one of the fastest growing industries. This industry is characterized by constant and rapid development of technology. Because of technological change produced each year more and more electrical and electronic products, which leads to greater use of technology, the use of a shorter time and more waste is produced. Environment impact of Electrical and electronic equipment is affected by the production of input materials for their production, as well as exploitation time because of electricity consumption and waste generation at the end of the life cycle. The reduction of environmental impact should be based on different stages of the life cycle: production of more efficient electrical and electronic appliances consisting of less raw materials, and the end of their life cycle can be easily recovered, reused separate parts or simply recycled to secondary materials. To achieve these goals, the economic model of linear economy (produce, consume and throw away) should be changed into circular economy. This model of economy helps to keep up materials and products in the circle within the economy. |
