.13 nm tobermorite (Ca5(OH)2Si6O16•4H2O) is one of the major minerals calcium silicate hydrates group synthesized by a hydrothermal reaction in the CaO–SiO2–H2O system. Tobermorite could be produced from granite polish waste or carbonated opoka. According to its chemical and mineral composition it may be suitable for preparation of calcium silicate hydrates hydrothermal reactions. The samples were analysed by XRD, DSC/TG and SEM methods. |
