The purpose of this work – was synthesis of the enamines containing carbazole and triphenylamine chromophores and assesment of their application in solar cell production. The target compounds were obtained from 3-amino- and 3,6-diamino-9-alkylcarbazoles and 4-aminotriphenylamine during condensation reaction with 2,2-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)acetaldehyde in toluene under reflux, in the presence of (+/-) camphor-10-sulfonicacid.A solar cell was built using one of the synthesized hole transporting materials, 9-ethyl-3-{N,N-bis[2,2-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)vinyl]amino}-9H-carbazole. The conversion efficiency of solar energy into electric power exceeded 15%. The technological line for the industrial production of this organic photoconductor was designed. |
