Abstract [eng] |
Production cost forecast methods are overviewed in final paper for master‘s degree as well as factors influencing production cost. Main quest of analysis is to find out fastest way to calculate the prime cost of pocket production. There are several types of pockets: round, rectangular and complicated contour. In order to investigate the factors of pocket prime cost – cutting tool cost and mechanical processing cost – a simulation was introduced using MasterCam program for various materials: steel and aluminum – using different diameters of cutting tools made of fast cutting steel tungsten carbide. In order to ascertain prime cost fluctuations, processing time was being adjusted by changing the geometry of the pocket. Data received over mechanical treatment time and other expenses will allow to forecast the prime cost for pocket manufacturing taking into account tool type, tool cost, and hourly rate on machine. Proper tool choices will allow to calculate exact prime cost of the pocket manufacturing. |
