This Master’s thesis investigates factors affecting formation of aerosol particles and methods of abatement in a non-thermal plasma reactor for air pollutant decomposition. Indoor air quality is one of the most important factors influencing human health. Recently, non-thermal plasma application for volatile organic compound abatement has received a lot of attention. But the application of this technology has its drawbacks – formation of secondary pollutants, namely aerosols. |
