This paper presents results of angular oriented ultrasonic parking sensor designing and experimental research. This sensor has been developed to improve detector witch is direct perpendicularly to car. Sensor development goal is reducing the number of sensors used in the parking detection systems, when they are installed between parking rows. Work begins with an overview of the parking systems and operation technology used in sensors of car detection. According to the reviewed system has been raised a problem and decided to choose sensor based on ultrasonic sensing technology. Developing the sensor was necessary to form a narrow ultrasound wave, which will cover a large part of the car and will be reflected back to the sensor. Device which will focus wave into fan shape was modeled. The modeling is done with Comsol Multiphysics simulation software. Experimental tests of wave making unit was carried out after the completion of the simulation. The wave direction, radiant intensity was set. The experimental research with the car was carried out when wave-making device was adapted to the sensor. Results were described and graphs were plotted, operation algorithm of detection was created using a result obtained. After applying the algorithm, experimental research of car detection was carried out Results were described and conclusions were reached. |
