This work briefly introduces several technologies to reduce heat loss in biofuel based heating only boiler plant, detailed examination of absorption heat pump and the boiler plant have been done. Biofuel based water heating boiler plant equiped with absorption heat pump, type and operating parameters adjusted. Estimated impact of absorption heat pump on energy and environmental characteristics of boiler plant. Overall efficiency of biomass based boiler plant with absorption heat pump was simulated and means for improvement offered. Simple payback time of modernization calculated. |
