Abstract [eng] Master‘s thesis examines the reliability of four type schemes configurations of high voltage transformer substations. In this thesis, the substation reliability analysis is accomplished using Arbre Analyste“ and „OpenFTA“ software, which are based on the fault tree and Monte – Carlo methods. The aim of master‘s thesis is to accomplish reliability analysis and evaluation of high voltage transformer substations schemes. And to submit offers on how to increase reliability of schemes configurations, which are used in high voltage transformer substations in Lithuania. In this thesis determination principles and calculation methodology of the high voltage substation schemes configurations reliability were reviewed as well as reliability of equipment (circuit breakers, disconnectors, buses, voltage and current transformers), which are used in these substation schemes. Also reliability models of one and a half breaker, ring with four circuit breakers, transit and nodular schemes configurations of high voltage transformer substations were created and reliability calculations were performed. In this thesis the comparison of results using Arbre Analyste“ and „OpenFTA“ software were made and it was found out, that one and a half breaker scheme configuration is the most reliable. Also, it was found out, that ring with four circuit breakers scheme configuration has a slightly lower reliability indicators, than half breaker scheme configuration and that transit and nodular schemes configurations has lowest reliability indexes of all schemes configuration, which were analyzed in thesis. Finally, recommendations on how to increase reliability of schemes configurations, which are used in high voltage transformer substations in Lithuania, were provided.
