| Abstract [eng] |
This paper investigates electric power market participants operation problems. The biggest problem emerging in electric power market is price volatility, which is determined by many factors. The literature review provides the main problems arising from foreign electric power market participants and trying to find out whether the same problems are experienced by Lithuanian power market participants. During the investigation a survey was carried out, which purpose was to identify the main problems faced by Lithuanian electric power market participants. Responses received in the survey are analyzed and compared with existing data. According to the analysis results, solutions that allow to optimize the electric power market participants are presented. |
