Constantly growing worlds energy needs, cause the growing importance of the most environmentally friendly, safe and cost effective energy production methods. Therefore, energy production requires the application of innovative and efficient technologies. For efficient production of electricity and thermal energy, the production must be combined –cogeneration must be used. Also innovative and effective equipment in these cogeneration systems has to be used. In this thesis innovative cogeneration plants - fuel cells and microturbines are slelected for building's energy supply. The best suited micro turbines and fuel cells are selected for buildings electricity and thermal energy needs. Operation, advantages and disadvantages of these facilities are examinated. Devices are selected according to the selected buildings - office analyzed heat and power needs. The economic and technologic system performance evaluation is performed. Summarizing the theoretical knowledge and the obtained results, conclusions and recommendations are presented. |
