In this work throughput prediction models were analyzed. Measurements of downlink throughput and RSSI in LTE-A network were carried out behind the buildings in microcells. Throughput patterns were observed from experiment results. A new throughput prediction model for LTE-A behind the buildings is proposed. The results of this model were compared with the new experiments. The proposed model could be used for the prediction of downlink throughput for 5G technology in microcells. |
