Abstract [eng] The main idea preparing final master‘s project, is investigate an algorithms of biomass specific growth rate. The project gives an overview of bio reactor types, biotechnological process operating parameters, measurements possibilities. An overview of state estimation algorithms in biotechnology, using the mass balance equations, artificial neural networks and other methods. Investigation was realized using mass balance equations and other data from literature. This model was realized in Matlab/Simulink environment. Two different algorithms of biomass specific growth rate estimation were realized using data from literature in Matlab/Simulink environment. The main input of estimators was oxygen uptake rate (OUR).
