The finishing Master‘s thesis contains of the investigation of the plant characteristic and thorough analysis of the literature, reviewing the scientific data bases, as well as scientific articles, which describe studies using melilot (lot. Melilotus officinalis). Extracts were made in few different ways: Soxhlet extraction, Accelerated solvent extraction, Hot water extraction and Supercritical Fluid Extraction. The highest yield was obtained for Methanol Accelerated solvent extract (plant leaves and stems) and Soxhlet extract (plant seeds). |
