Abstract [eng] |
This paper investigates Baltic power system ability to operate in island mode plus ensure reliable and stable system performance. The regimes for year 2017 low load mode and for year 2018 high load mode were modeled by taking into account transmission system plans. The largest disturbances endangered of system instability were modeled for these regimes. Following by power flow calculations, power system static stability were investigated based on N-1 disturbances. Transient processes analysis and frequency dynamic stability studies were made. Based on different system conditions, boundary limit of generation and import/export were estimated under frequency dynamic stability analysis. The transient stability of major Baltic States generators and critical fault clearing time is investigated. |
