Abstract [eng] The research on the efficiency of some types of combustion products condensing economizers in the biofuel – fired boilers has been carried out in this master thesis. Just a decade ago the country started the installation of combustion products condensing economizers as a result of technical assumptions: the temperature of reversionary heating-system water became fairly low to have sufficiently intensive condensation of vapour present in combustion products. Therefore, during the aforementioned period the country has installed condensing economizers of diverse capacity and various designs, which operate in boiler plants using different fuel: wood – chips, straws, peat, natural gas, municipal waste, etc. After the review of the sources of literature it was established that so far no researches on the efficiency of various designs and types of combustion products condensing economizers under real operating conditions have been carried out and no comparison of the research results of various types of condensing economizers has been made. Since the price of combustion products condensing economizers is high, it is important for heat supply companies to properly evaluate the technical – economic parameters of condensing economizers – not only the price but also the efficiency, the operating costs, etc. The thesis analyses the industrial indicators of combustion products condensing economizers registered in existing boiler plants of public company „Panevėžio energija“. The boilers as well as other major devices of the boiler plants have been described in this thesis and aggregate data has been presented in figures and tables. For the purpose of comparison of industrial indicators, one heating season of the year 2015-2016 has been selected and the aggregate data has been shown in figures and tables. As the performed analysis of the operational indicators shows, the indicators of the efficiency of various types of combustion products condensing economizers are similar, so it is difficult to single out one obvious „leader“ in terms of efficiency. Also it is worth noting that the described combustion products condensing economizers are of different capacity and they are equipped in diverse cities and operated by the staff having different experience. Moreover, these devices are connected to the boilers having different modifications and parameters, which pass combustion products of different parameters. It is obvious that in order to get more accurate data of comparison, it is necessary to analyse combustion products condensing economizers, installed in one boiler plant, which are of different types but of equal capacity and they should be served by highly qualified personnel.
