Abstract [eng] |
This master thesis aim is to implement several methods for vibration damping, in order to improve 3D printer performance and print quality and do testing of these methods. During printing, due to dynamic loads, moving components vibrate. These vibrations increase the print head positioning error, which negatively affect the quality of the printed parts. When increasing print speed, print quality is deteriorating more and more, and at a certain print speed print quality becomes unacceptable, it means that the printer vibrations also reduces the printer's print speed. That means that, even without changing the design of the printer, but simply through vibration reduction algorithms, printing time can be decreased. |
