Abstract [eng] Lobbying is often seen as the main agent to convey a particular social group or business organization interests to government officials. During this process, there is exchange of information since organizations or interest groups communicate their views to government officials. Despite the fact that the basic principles of lobbying in modern society is widely discussed and well known, there is lack of case studies and examples of academic reseach. Whereas political solutions are different, conflicting interests result of the negotiations, interest groups needs are extremely important and could have a significant impact on decision-making. This Master‘s thesis is based on qualitative study and aims to analyze lobbying regulation and enforcement in Lithuania.
