Abstract [eng] |
Plants accumulate chemical elements, including radioactive nuclides, so their specific activity measurement may be a good indicator of the radioactive contamination of the environment, including in response to the main tasks – dispersion of radionuclides in the environment of nuclear power plants. The research examines natural and artificial radioactive sources, radionuclides accumulated by plants, modeling of evolution of actinides and fission products in nuclear fuel radioactivity during burnup in nuclear reactor and during cooling, evaluation of radiotoxicity. on Earth and influence it causes on the specific activity. Specific activity of artificial and natural radionuclides in products was selected as a tool for comparative analysis. The specific activity of typical environmental radioactivity samples in the Ignalina nuclear power plant environment are measured and presented by the author of the research paper, who also participated in the said inquiry. |
