Master‘s thesis analyse river valley slopes in the cities, its’ spatial formation principles and concepts. During scientific material collection and analysis theoretical and practical questions of river valley slopes spatial formation was studied. Empirical studies were taken while analysing Kaunas, Vilnius and Vilkija slopes with Videoecology method. Slopes of Kaunas also was analysed by landscapes’ visual quality indication factors. During second stage a survey of public and experts was taken. There were formed concepts for river valley slopes spatial formation in the cities. They were adapted while working on experimental project in Kaunas, Žaliakalnis – territory continue from Laisvės avenue 1 to K. Petrausko street 60. General conclusions of master degree project were formulated. |
