Constant advancement of Information technology expanded it's application field. Interactiveness and versatility of IT enables it to become additional or even primary tool in remote studies. When studying mathematics, it is essential to ensure not only the quality of theoretical study material but presentation of practical tasks as well. It is observed that for modern student, study material availability and IT application in studies is increasingly relevant. All these aspects motivates student and makes entire study process easier. In order to create a learning system that would meet the needs of a modern student, information technology solutions were added to the learning process that moves the learning course to virtual environment thus making learning more efficient and accessible to every student. In order to improve study quality, goals were set to analyze tools for teaching mathematics in virtual environment, and based on results of this analysis a virtual learning system was designed to be applied in higher education. In this thesis analysis for remote learning necessity and possibilities was carried out. Based on the results of analysis virtual learning system \"Multivariate statistical analysis\" was designed. In system realization various technologies for improving course interactiveness and accessibility were implemented. This thesis summarizes the designed and implemented system functional requirements, main architectural elements as well as system use cases. |
