The main aim of this project is to analyze and compare the terms of proper names and eponyms in Lithuanian and English.The novelty and relevance of the project: eponyms are almost not analyzed in Lithuanian terminology and among foreign scientists are many disputes concerning the necessity and scientific validity, but an existence of eponyms is indisputable. The significance of eponyms occurs in Medical field and eponyms itself encourages us to learn and explore the discoveries and to recognize the contribution of scientists to their hard work and in this way to honor them. The most significant feature of eponyms that they are simplified and reveals more information than most definitions and because of their compactness very appreciated. |
