Abstract [eng] With the growing number of vehicles, the number of accidents in roads has increased significantly. In order to improve the security of the junction there is wide variety of methods designed, but their analysis and the need for improvement remains. One of the most effective methods for the safety set of the intersection is conflict points search. The master thesis main goal is to make road junctions conflict points counting methods study and modification, which will help to calculate collisions involving a pedestrian movement, and add these calculations to different types of intersections to improve they safety. First part of this research work presents models of intersections, and conflict points search methods analysis. In order to achieve the established goals, second section describes conflict scoring realization process. Considered functional, not functional requirements, for the structure of the method. After modification of the automatic conflict counting method we are able to calculate the pedestrian and motor vehicle collisions. After planning of the testing process, in experiments conflict points counting is performed calculations on different types of intersections. During testing it was found that the level of security varies in junctions when we include pedestrian traffic. After junction modifications and reduced number of conflict points we reached far better level of safety.
