The purpose of the final thesis theme is to assess the impact of the investment funds on the economy of Lithuania. Investment funds are still a novelty in Lithuania, and therefore, it is essential to take over the experience of other countries, to apply it in the future, and, having gained experience, to improve the models that operate there. It is possible to distinguish the main problems in the investment funds’ accumulation investment system: 1. low financial literacy of the participants, 2. sub-optimal selection of investment funds, 3. changing of funds in the wrong time. |
