In current market economy times, companies seek to effectively enhance their competitiveness in their industry. Due to this some of administrative functions are entrusted to consulting firms, allowing companies to focus on product, which they are manufacturing or selling. Consequently consulting companies are also interested in improving their performance on purpose to attract more customers. However, these companies unlike ordinary businesses are selling unique product - knowledge. So consulting company’s performance management and quality improvement is more complex and requires more organizational knowledge. But this organizational knowledge need in consulting companies depends on the nature of the services provided by firm. |
