The final project analyzes problematic issues of youth unemployment in Central and Eastern European Countries i.e. youth unemployment in Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia is investigated. Firstly, the final project focuses on main economic theories analyzing employment and theories of policy implementation. Secondly, development and formation processes of youth employment policy of the European Union are generalized following main initiatives fighting youth unemployment in the European Union. Finally, peculiarities and measures implemented to fight youth unemployment in Central and Eastern European Countries are highlighted. In order to analyze youth unemployment in before mentioned countries, various demographic, economic, educational, seasonal, social and time-related indicators using statistical data from the statistical office of the EU – Eurostat of the year 2014 were invoked. |
