Relevance of the topic. Successful economic development and the competitiveness of the world nations mostly depend on capability of the manpower. Therefore many organizations should be interested in improving the present personnel by constant knowledge and skills renewal on purpose of high quality working. In spite of growing interest in creative employee and knowledge depreciation, the problem of creative employee’s knowledge depreciation is still being studied in the broad sense while concentrating in the issues, causes and ways of elimination of the depreciation. As various authors mention, knowledge depreciation should be studied not only in a broad sense but also in connection with particular sector. Thus the individual employee differences of various sectors would be recognized and the most suitable ways of elimination of creative employee’s knowledge depreciation would be found. Problem. What ways of knowledge depreciation should be applied to various creative employees according to their type of learning and the stage of their career life cycle? Research object: elimination of creative employee’s knowledge depreciation by the most suitable ways according to the learning style and the stage of career life cycle. Research objective/purpose: to identify means of elimination of creative employee's knowledge depreciation applied to different periods of career life cycle considering their learning styles. Research tasks: 1. Analyze the conception of creative organization and creative employee, recognize the characteristics of creative employee and prepare the typologies of the employees in relation to the career life cycle; 2. Identify the reasons of knowledge depreciation and the ways to eliminate them; 3. Prepare the model of elimination of knowledge depreciation with components of employee profiles, career life cycle and the ways of elimination; 4. After substantiation of the research methodology evaluate the coherence of creative learning types, career life cycle and ways of elimination of knowledge depreciation in Lithuanian Information Technology companies. Main results of the research. Knowledge depreciation is a dynamic process with various causes which are mutual for all creative employees without the differentiation by their style of learning. To eliminate knowledge depreciation while using various learning styles the most acceptable ways of each style must be applied. The ways of elimination of knowledge depreciation cannot be reasonably used by career life cycle in spite of some distinct connections with it. Based on the carried out research it can be stated that the ways of elimination differ depending on the learning style however some of the ways are universal for several learning types. |
