Sustainability is and will be the most important subject for all and especially project managers. The problems of sustainability are complex and one of them is how to manage the sustainable projects in business enterprises. The aim of thesis – to reveal the importance of principles of sustainability and to create a model for sustainable project management in business enterprise. The results of the research showed that no principle of sustainability was evaluated as not applicable or not important in project management. The experts say that balancing and harmonizing involvement of social, environmental and economic aspects is very important for project context. The reach of the short-term and long-term aims and the use of local and global resources is the most important aspect for project content, stakeholders and project success. The Transparency and accountability principle is evaluated as the most important of all sustainability principles due to its importance which can be seen in project reports, project purchases and risk management. |
